Professional Background

Mr. Carter has over thirty years experience as a consultant, manager, and chemist. Twenty-eight of those years were spent in operations and quality. His experience includes management positions in Operations, Marketing, and Quality with Dexter Corp., Esmark, Reichhold Chemicals, Reliance Universal (Akzo Nobel), and International Jensen Inc. He is an adjunct faculty member at the Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration - Roosevelt University and teaches graduate courses in Statistics, Production /Operations Management, and Economics. He was selected for membership in Marquis "Who’s Who" Worldwide 2001 and Strathmore’s Who’s Who in 2000-2001.

Mr. Carter holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration from Roosevelt University. He has the following certifications: Juran Institute - certificate in Management of Quality, certificate in Facilitating Quality Improvement; Michigan State University — certificate in How to Write and Control Documentation for ISO 9000; Motorola University — certificate in Process Mapping. He has been a Certified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor since 1994. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Manager and also a Certified Professional Marketing Consultant.

Mr. Carter is a member of the International Guild of Professional Consultants, a member of the American Society for Quality (past director of the Northeastern Illinois Section), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), The Benchmarking Exchange, The Greater Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Evanston, IL Chamber of Commerce, and the American Management Association. His firm is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency.

1990 Assisted in ISO 9002 implementation of two English manufacturing facilities for Swift Adhesives (40 employees).

1992 Assisted the implementation of ISO 9001 of French manufacturing facility for Dexter Corp (150 employees).

1997: Directed and assisted in ISO 9002 certification of Fujicone, Inc, (250 employees) - Clinton, NC.

Directed ISO 9001/QS 9000 certification of Punxsutawney, PA metal stamping plant (300 employees)—IJI.

Directed ISO9001/QS 9000 certification of Lumberton, NC speaker assembly plant (900 employees)—International Jensen.

Directed ISO 9001/QS 9000 of General Magnetics, Inc, Dallas, TX ((300 employees)—International Jensen.
