Profile

Jerry Pinney has served as Vice-president of Marketing for the Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA), Vice-president of Membership for the National Grocers Association (NGA), and Senior Vice-president of Procurement for Shurfine International.

In addition, Jerry has been a member of the Board of Directors of the International Dairy, Deli-Bakery association (IDDBA), a member of the Advisory and Development board of the Parkside Pastoral Counseling Center, a member of the Food Distributors International (FDI) and a member of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI).

Jerry's education includes the University of Illinois, numerous courses at the American Management Association, including the Top Management briefing course and graduation from two Dale Carnegie Courses.

On a personal level, Jerry has held many leadership positions in the United Methodist Church, both at the local level and the conference level and he is an Eagle Scout.
